About This Facility
Set in the heart of Hengli International Financial Island in Nansha District, the Guangzhou Nansha Hengli International Financial Island Football Park is a newly opened, 120,000-square-meter natural-turf football hub and one of the largest of its kind in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. Built to national professional standards, the park comprises eight 11-a-side natural-grass pitches and one internationally certified 11-a-side artificial-turf pitch, illuminated by anti-glare LED match lighting mounted on 21-meter towers (up to 800 lux). Its 3,000-seat grandstand, along with home and away dressing rooms, a referee room and a medical room, supports everything from professional training and major tournaments to community recreation. Operated on a market-led "use-and-maintain" model by Mingzhu Bay Administration and Nansha Kaijian Group, the park has already hosted more than 1,000 events since opening in March 2026, and has expanded beyond football to cover rugby, baseball/softball and ultimate frisbee, with food-and-beverage and leisure offerings planned to create a true "sports + lifestyle" destination. Adjacent to Metro Line 18's Hengli Station, the park is approximately 95 kilometers from Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport, about 1 hour 20 minutes to 1 hour 40 minutes by bus — an ideal venue for team training camps, tournaments and everyday recreation.
